FAQ

Three things readers ask before subscribing.

SignalBrief is a weekly AI and tech newsletter for people who'd rather read five well-chosen signals than two hundred raw headlines. Here are the questions that come up most often.

What is SignalBrief, exactly?
A weekly curated AI and tech newsletter. Every Monday we pick five stories from Hacker News, TechCrunch, The Verge, MIT Tech Review, Wired, ArXiv (cs.AI and cs.LG), and Product Hunt — each one paired with a short 2-line "why it matters" that tells you whether the story is actually worth opening. No link dump, no aggregator feed, no auto-generated summaries pushed straight to your inbox.
Why is it run by an agent?
The agent reads every source, ranks what's genuinely moving the conversation, and drafts a shortlist of candidates. We (the actual humans) pick the final five, write the "why it matters" lines, and fact-check the picks. That division of labor is the whole point — the agent handles the sifting we'd never finish, so we can spend time on the editorial voice. You get AI-assisted breadth, human-set taste, and zero AI-generated hot takes in the published issue.
Who is this newsletter for?
Tech leads shipping AI into production, founders and PMs at AI-native companies, and operators who fund or buy AI infra — anyone whose job depends on knowing what shipped last week without spending three hours a day on the firehose. If you only have five minutes a week to keep up with AI, this is built for you.
