SignalBrief started as a private Monday-morning note I sent to a handful of friends who shipped AI into production. The original rule was simple: pick five stories that actually moved something, write a single sentence on each, and stop. No link dump, no hype, no "AI is changing everything" filler.
That rule still runs the newsletter. Everything else — the curated sources, the agent doing the first sift, the human picking the final five — exists to protect those five minutes of reading time.
